The HF 100 helps remove airborne pollutants from the air right down to the sub-micron level (less than 0.015 microns). It generates millions of Negative Ions to stimulate natural cleaning process. The unit also deposits the pollutants onto its collector plate (not removable) and requires only a periodic wipe for maintenance. Small unit big Performance

Lots of opinions about these units. Does a great job for it's sizein dropping unwanted smells out of small rooms!Don't stick your nose up to it! don't leave it on longer than you need to,& just know it generates negative ions which cling on toparticles of smelly stuff & drop them out of the Air!Dont buy 10 of them & leave them on Constantly!Too much of this is not good for you!There is a great deal more about this &other ways to get cooking & other unwanted smells out of your house.

I own both this and the bigger model. I use this smaller version in my bedroom. It does a very good job of keeping the dust out of the air and adds a nice clean fresh smell to the room. I can tell it does a good job at removing the dust from the air because I never see any floating in the sunlight and I have lots of dust build up on my night stands that I vacuum regularly (this is because the ionizer drops the dust out of the air). The ozone can build up in a small closed off room, but I don't have that problem as my bedroom is pretty open and i have an adjacent room for a little buffer zone for the ozone. I take this with me on trips to freshen up hotel rooms and I've taken it to my parents to deodorize and clean the room I sleep in since they smoke. I turn this on a few hours on high before I sleep over and I can no longer smell the smoke in that room since the ozone oxidized it all and I can sleep as if at home as far as the air goes.
