Product Description
ForeverOzone invented the "bare bones" ozone generators to fill a need in the marketplace for ozone generators that are built without all of the "bells and whistles" found in most ozone machines. Why? Over time, these parts fail, (timers, switches, mother boards, etc) rendering the ozone generator useless even though the ozone producing part of the machine (the transformer and plate) might be fine! Secondly, these bare bones ozone generators of ours (3500 and 7000 mg/h models available) are easy to clean and maintain. They come fully assembled and ready to go, just place a fan behind the unit to move the ozone around and to cool the transformer and you're in business! We transport these units to the job site in a tool box, without plates (plug them in at job site). They're made of 3/4" solid oak, stainless steel fittings, and ozone proof feet. The open design allows the unit to stay cool (more ozone, heat destroys ozone) and facilitates cleanup after the job. Since shock treatments are ALWAYS performed in unoccupied areas, not having a case is a benefit, not a detriment. Another benefit of this unit's design, if one of the transformers fails, no big deal, you still have another one to at least produce 3500 milligrams per hour of ozone! AWESOME POWER

I bought this along with some other sizes for our rental units and I'm ecstatic with the price for the power this thing puts out!! I tried one from O2Z but the plastic got torn up by the ozone and measured its voltage output at the generator. It was about 1390 plus or minus and was supposed to put out 7,000 mg/hr. This one had 7,008 and up to 7,144 volts!!! So no wonder the other crap kicked the bucket. This one puts out 7,000 mg/hr but it's not rated based on the others. The others rate theirs at pure oxygen input which is a Chinese method of cheating. No one will feed straight oxygen into any generator. Air has only 21% oxygen so they base the count on that. This one really is 20,000 or much more based on their measurement system. I know the other one never cleaned odors like this one. This one got to the ozone enrichment where my eyes itched and watered and throat itched in a few minutes where the other one did not even get that far. It just got close to itchy eyes strength. I bought another 3500 mg/hr with a fan on their website (ForeverOzone.com) and it's just $99 free shipping. Also I got the other fan model at 7200 mg/hr. These people won't cheat you. Plus I leave this one running 24 hours in my shop every month and it's a huge shop. Never burned out. Other companies bash these people because they are honest and practically give these units away. Forever Ozone rocks top!!!

I had left a couple of messages with the company for additional information and they did not call me back. That was a huge red flag for me, but since I don't need this on a consistent basis, I decided to ask another company that sold the device for a lot more money my questions and then if the answers were what I needed order this one. I made the decision to order it directly from Amazon in case there was a problem since Amazon has always been extremely responsive to any issue I've had. I was afraid if I ordered it from the manufacturer's website that if there were a problem they would not respond after the sale since they didn't respond before the sale!So on to my review. My concerns with the shock treatment were several--I have multiple animals and I couldn't relocate all of them (30 gallon fish tank for instance, birds in heavy iron cages) outside the home easily. I wanted to know if I shocked a bedroom and some of the ozone leaked into another room would I be looking at dead birds or fish or cats or dog. Although not healthy a faint ozone smell did permeate a few of the other rooms, but I had no animal deaths. I also wanted to know, since I have a gas furnace and water heater if there would be a problem with the pilot lights going out. I was told my another company there should not be a problem, but I erred on the side of caution and shocked the main part of the basement an hour at a time.I shocked the basement first in order to gauge how this was going to work. My basement was musty since I live in a 90 year old house. I must say after shocking a couple of the rooms (with the ozone seeping out from under the doors), the entire basement smelled much better. I shocked the main part of the basement for one hour and found that was all I needed. I understood from my research that the ozone shocker would kill bugs, didn't find that to be true. I lifted up a piece of plastic after shocking what was once the coal room and one of those house millipedes ran out. Don't know if s/he died later, but they managed to live thru a four hour shock treatment. It has been a couple of weeks and the basement still smells fresh.I shocked a room upstairs where I had multiple cats that didn't always use the litter box and I was thrilled to pieces that the cat urine odor was gone. That made the price of the shocker well worth it!And my final use was in my car. I took an XXL dog to the vet with a life threatening emergency and she peed in the car. The smell was pretty bad, well make that beyond bad...since the seat was cloth and the urine went thru the protective seat cover. The ozone shocker didn't get the stain out, but it certainly got the odor out! I did three fifteen minute sessions over three days.I do recommend this item, but do your research if you have questions since the company may not call you back to answer any voice mails you leave.

So far it is cleaning very good. I will build a better box later, but the one I built now is doing fine.House smells new and no odors.
