Surprisingly Efficient

I work in a small office which has an even smaller bathroom that gets used regularly which is, fortunate for me, right near my desk. Before I bought this item my co-workers would utilize the bathroom and after bowel movements would spray enough air freshener to asphyxiate a donkey. (or the entire office) The air freshener was actually counter productive because it didn't kill the underlying smell - it combined... it grew stronger and more vile than either odor had been originally. I would use a box of matches which did the trick for a while but then it would leave the office smelling like sulfur so it was a step up but not a perfect solution.Enter this little contraption - I plugged it in on a Friday night so it could get some time working with the air in the small bathroom and apparently it needed to build up a layer of plasma before it was completely functional. For the first week I noticed that it was making a dent but wasn't working up to snuff, I was contemplating sending it back but decided to give it a week more.I'm glad I didn't send it back - the air in the bathroom now smells better than the rest of the office. In a small 6' x 10' bathroom foul odor is cleaned out within 10 minutes (usually faster) making the office a less contentious and far less stinky place to work. I plan on buying two more of these for my home. (one for the bathroom and one for the cat litter box area)12/30/2012As an update this little thing has still done its magic but with one glitch. It now makes a rapid clicking sound that I don't know how to fix. Fortunately we can't hear it from outside the bathroom but I had to remove the one in my living room that was dealing with the cats' litter box odor.

This is the second one we've owned in 10 years (1st one died after several years of use). These units will quickly deodorize a small area, like a bathroom or closet. It's compact and simply "plug and play" to use. We even plug them into an extension cord and place them in the cars overnight once in a while to doedorize the cars' interiors.
