Wrong model number - you get shorted 2 filters.

The 1 star is NOT for the quality but for the error in the description. Please do not make the same mistake I did and order this thinking you are receiving 3 filters. You only recieve 1.Date written: July 25, 2005.I have pointed this out to Amazon today so they may change the description so no one else makes this mistake.

You can mount in Picture frame easel and use on table by smoker ..

Have had 2 of these in use for over 15 years - one can center on a wire/metal picture frame easel - [near a smoker] They are very quiet - Just use extension cord to the outlet .. Filters last very long as they are washable and as to buying scented ones - just spray your favorite room air product - Glade or whatever - onto the filter after washing - same effect - way less cost -

Awkward plug-in but quiet and durable unit

The unit is loud enough to create white noise for sleeping or the office but not so loud as to disturb others. Doesn't work as well if you are plugging it in just above a baseboard as the prongs are just above the fan in back. The unit should extend the prongs past the back of the motor or place them below it so the unit can plug in flush with a wall. Overall, though, an excellent choice for its size and noise level when you don't want something sitting on your workspace or dresser.
