Great small unit

I was pleased that all I had to do was pull it out of the box, take off 2 small pieces of protective plastic and plug it in to start working. I bought 2 of these for our toddler's allergies and my own. Very quiet on high setting and has a 'smooth' sound not a rattling chopping sound. My only complaint is that the Amazon description notes 130 sq ft. but the box says 80 sq feet. The rooms they are being used in are 110 and 100 sq ft. I really would have opted for a bigger size had I known these were rated for a smaller room. It may seem like not much of a size difference but cleaning the dirty L.A. air out of my son's room is important to me. Overall very pleased - just note the unit actually says it is intended for 80 sq ft.

Earlier this year we bought our first stand-alone air purification unit, Hoover Air Purifier with TiO2 Technology - WH10600. WE were really glad that we did and wondered why we hadn't done something like it earlier. The air in our house, or at least in the part of the house where we had used it, instantly felt fresher and cleaner. So we had become big proponents of air-purification devices. The Hoover purifier, although really great and effective, was not really ideal for the overnight use in the bedroom - at times it would make a lot of noise, and the top LED panel was way too bright. So it was a great opportunity to try a out a smaller, simpler purifier that would only be used in smaller rooms - those 100 square feet or smaller. And this Whirlpool air purifier fits that category perfectly. It is small and quiet, and yet it manages to make the air in our bedroom feel fresher. I don't mind leaving it on overnight. It is also very portable and easy to clean. I also feel very good about using it in our newborn's room. So far we've been very happy with it, and I think that it's priced about right for this type of device. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a small and effective air purifier.

I sort of have a "thing" for air filters - I have one in every room of my apartment! I feel that they noticeably improve the air quality in my apartment, and I also like the white noise they provide.This is a nice little air filter. Setup is very easy - simply remove the air purifier from the packaging and plug it in.Because it is fairly small, this should not be used in a large room like a living room - this is more suited to a bedroom, which is where I use mine. This is also a great unit for a bedroom because it is very quiet (hence the name Whispure). It has three fan settings, and I use mine on medium at all times and have no problems sleeping. Also, this air filter has simple display with buttons that barely light up, which is also a nice feature for a room you want to keep dark for sleeping. I also have a Hoover air filter and that display is so bright that I would need to cover it up before sleeping in the same room. This unit has none of those problems. Another nice feature is the timer feature, which causes the unit to shut off after the specified amount of time. However, I never use it and have this running 24/7.I was fortunate enough to receive this through Amazon Vine, but I do recommend the product and think it is worth the asking price.
