filter fraud

These filters are NOT the filters (real Honeywell) as pictured in the link. The wording in the ad leads one to believe that it is just a new model number ("replaces ###") but in fact is not Honeywell. They fit, but their performance is subpar. I will never purchase these again, or anything from this intentionally fraudulent company. I wrote to them, but their answer was evasive and full of excuses about how they are entitled to lie -- or at least, mislead.

No odor!

The replacement pre-filter works great. I've encountered non-branded pre-filters that gave off some awful odors for the first few days, but there was nothing noticeable from this part. In fact my entire house is nearly odor free after using it for a few days. Will definitely buy again.

could use perforations

These are very good. The only thing the genuine Honeywells have that's better is perforations. These you have to cut if you're using on multiple units of differing sizes. A small problem or no problem when you realize how much you're saving (over Honeywell). They actually are slightly more substantial than the Honeywells.
