Sloppy Quality

My light arrived to day and I was very disappointed with the quality of this lamp. Large cracks in it. No lightbulb and no holder for the light. You have to shove a loose light into an open hole and hope it stay's there if not, it's sure to be a fire hazard. I have ordered many things from Amazon and this is the first item I will have to send back. Im pretty forgiving about most things but this light is just a rip off. I ordered a less expensive light of this type by a different maker right here on amazon for my daughter. Not only was it less expensive, it arrived a week earlier and it is much better quality. So this one go's back.This himalayan salt Lamp must have fallen off the side of the Himalas. Also it was packaged poorly.

The salt cylinder is beautiful - great shape, beautiful colour, with no visible cracks or faults. However, when this 'lamp' arrived, there was only the socket/cord and the salt cylinder. No light bulbs. I contacted the seller who told me to contact Amazon, since Amazon shipped the items. Amazon, in turn, said although they shipped the items, they had no control over the inventory of the seller. When I contacted the seller again, they said as it shipped from Amazon's warehouse, they had none of the parts. Long story short - after going back and forth, neither the seller or Amazon were able to provide me with a light bulb. Although to Amazon's credit, they offered a partial refund as the lamp was missing the bulb. Seller just offered polite words, but were absolutely useless.In addition, the clips on either side of the socket/cord piece do not reach across the hole under the cylinder (so there is nothing holding it in place). I asked the seller if there was another part missing - a part that is supposed to hold the socket in place (so that the bulb won't be rattling around). So far, no response to that query.It's a good thing that the salt cylinder is absolutely beautiful - because it's not functioning as a lamp right now. I'm giving it two stars because it's pretty and also for Amazon's refund. Other than that, it's a hassle of a purchase (unless you have your own salt lamp light bulbs).

Just right to add to any room. Perfect lighting to leave on 24/7. And it's suppose to be healthy! Wish it had black or brown cord instead of white though.
