excellent revolving fan

When there is a need for a somehwhat small but revolving fan-this fan pretty much does that job.It stirs quite a bit of air.It is basically quiet except when used on its highest setting-then it makes a whining noise.There are few fans in this size category that do revolve!

Good Simple Fan

This fan is awesome. I Keep it by my bed to keep me cool, and for the white noise. I bought mine at Lowes Improvement. It is like the old school fans of the 80s to 90s. It is not hard to assemble either. The outer metal cover is easily removable to clean/dust compared to alot of plastic fans. For around $20 bucks it can't be beaten.

not quiet, not exactly "adjustable"

First, this fan is not what I would call whisper quiet. Even on the lowest setting it's louder than some other fans I have around the house that don't claim to be quiet. Second, the tilting head: On my particular unit, the bolts would not hold tightly to the plastic and the momentum of the fan (even on low) forced it to tilt permanently upward. Third, after a couple of hours of use it still had a faint, burnt electric smell coming from the motor although it was plugged into a proper outlet. So I returned it. I did not purchase this fan from amazon, but it is the same product and I would not recommend this fan. I second the review that says it's cheaply made, because that pretty much sums it up.
