Product Description
This space-saving tower air purifier works two ways to freshen and clean the air in your home. First, its HEPA high-efficiency filter helps remove airborne particles such as smoke, dust, pollen, mold spores and pet dander. Then, to absorb and eliminate common odors, the filter is fortified with trusty arm and hammer baking soda. Features three speed settings and optional ionizer. Recommended for rooms up to 120-square-feet, smoke CADR 76. Replacement filter: HAPF30.

A Life Changer

Not many things out there this cheap that can change ones life. I had allergies that flared up at least 2 times a year. In the last five year I only remember going being sick 3 times and 2 were the flu.This is my second one of these. My last ran for 5 years and still runs. Understandable that the fan would start squeaking after running that long.I changed the hepa filter once a year like is suggested. Who wouldn't give $20 (filter and 1/5 of unit) a year to not be sick. A prescription costs that much.

I love this air purifier! I was looking for a good unit, willing to spend some money but I didn't want to spend a lot and I didn't want something so big that it would take up a lot of space on a bedside table or an end table. A friend of mine has a Holmes air purifier and is happy with it, but it is exactly that--too expensive for me and larger than I wanted. When I saw this model, I really hoped it would prove to be as good as the one of the same brand that was more expensive and larger. I was not disappointed. This model is a reasonable, medium size and looks very nice. It is less expensive and it is the same brand. In addition, it is quiet, which is a wonderful thing. Only on the highest setting or when I am standing right next to it am I aware it is running. Oh, I haven't said anything about whether it does its job! It does its job--very well! I am buying two more, one for the other bedroom and the third for a partially-finished basement we use as an office. I am so happy with this product and also happy that I don't have to continue my search through all the various makes, models and types that are out on the market. I highly recommend this Holmes air purifier.

We live in a basement apartment. It had a little mold issue when we moved in. We got two of these and run them constant. At first i didn't think they were helping much because there was still a lot of dust on surfaces of furniture so like a month in we shut them off. i woke up the next morning and my eyes were all puffy form the dust. We turned them back on and have not had a problem since. I have not tried any other types so i have nothing to compare it to but i know this works.
