AirTamer's ® new power boost technology has 2x more cleaning power than the AirTamer A300. It emits a constant stream of healthy negative ions that force airborne pollutants (e.g. viruses, bacteria, pollen, dust, etc.) away from your personal space, giving you a zone of cleaner, healthier air to breathe, everywhere you go!
A proprietary conductive lanyard (now, adjustable in length) dramatically improves performance and increases run time. The extremely energy efficient technology provides 7 days of continuous use (over 3 times longer than competitive units) with 2 included lithium coin cell batteries.
AirTamer®'s design is ultra compact and incredibly versatile. You can wear it around your neck (strap included) since it is smaller than most MP3 players. You can also clip it to your shirt or blouse (includes integral clip) or stand it freely on a nightstand once you reach your destination so the air around your pillow is cleaned. The "on" indicator light gently blinks to indicate it is cleaning the air.
AirTamer® includes a metal travel case to protect the air purifier when not in use. Maintenance is easy since there are no filters to replace.

This is the best!

I have many ionizers, also a couple of different wearable ones. I also have a professional ion counter to actually measure the output.All the other wearable ionizers use a needle to emit the ions. Those models all have 3 disadvantages: They emit ozone (I want ions, not ozone), the ion stream is very focussed at one point (almost like a laser pointer or a highly focused flashlight) and the emitting needles wear out rather quickly.This unit uses a tiny carbon fiber brush instead of a needle. I can measure a surprisingly high ion output 180 degrees in all directions around the brush (no focused beam). I am sure that it encloses my whole head much better that the focused beam of other devices hitting my chin. No ozone to detect. Brush should keep a very long time. 2x CR2025 batteries keep it running for a surprisingly long time (longer than any other battery operated ionizer I own) and if you buy them online at the right place, they are really cheap (although this is not rally an environmentally friendly solution).Disadvantage: It's a but heavy and looks weird. I wish they would make a model that looks more like a piece of jewelry (but unisex, please) or an amulet. I really don't like if people stare at the "thing" around neck, but I can live with it.Currently I experience some kind of allergic reaction on the skin on my chest right under the unit (with the unit on top of a t-shirt, of cause). Not sure about that. Will watch it...

While I did not buy my Filter Stream 302 on Amazon, I am extremely happy with the product. Having a compromised immune system means I am highly susceptible to anything in the air around me, particularly when I fly. I have used this air cleaner on international and domestic flights and find that not only do I stay healthy, I arrive more refreshed. The item is good for flying and anytime you find yourself in a crowded place (cruise ships, malls, trains, etc). The batteries really do last a long time, I have over 100 hours on my current set of batteries and do not plan to replace them for some time. I highly recommend this item to anyone who does not want to take the chance of getting sick anytime they are in a crowded area where germs can be easily transmitted.

I have compromised breathing and I use it most of the time so that I can avoid flu an colds. It works great... ask long as you wear it and have good batteries in it. I am a professor and it used to be that I could count the ten to fourteen days from my first lecture until I had some student-borne virus. As long as I keep up the other healthy stuff; like water, vitamin C, exercise etc., I don't get them like clockwork anymore. Batteries don't last too long so always have some on hand. They are expensive, but the good product two-packs last a long time and are better than the cheap ones.
