Great Machine for Allergy Season

I have seasonal allergies and I bought this to upgrade from my 15-year-old Hunter 30375. I love the aspect of it killing the germs in the filter. My old machine had apparently gotten less efficient at filtering the air and circulated allergens that made my symptoms worse. The Total Air Sanitizer works and I've been symptom-free since I started letting it run continuously in my bedroom. Very simple operation -- One touch control on top that takes it from low - med - high. The color and shape ain't half bad, and it blends into any room in the house. While I don't have any complaints about the performance, I would prefer the air blowing forward instead of out the back of the unit. It's quiet and does a great job of purifying the air.

Hunter Air Santizer

We received this unit as a Christmas Gift from the Inlaws.. We own a smaller Ionizer that you wipe the grid clean once a month that we keep in our bedroom due to my allergies/asthma. This one is big enough to do our living area which is where we spend alot of our time at. So far it's a tad noisier than my Ionizer one but bearable. No louder than our fish tank.. It does move alot of air at one time. We have 2 Chihuahua's a and a rabbit in our home so their odors can be noticeable to others, as well as cooking odors. We did not notice any unusual smell like other's have spoken about, however I did wipe our unit down prior to putting it into use as it had been sitting in a box for who knows how long.
