Product Description
True HEPA filters capture up to 99.97 percent of microscopic particles such as household dust, smoke, pollen, mold spores and pet dander. Long-life design only requires replacement every three to five years. Patented SurroundSeal Technology protects against air leakage around the filter for maximum efficiency. Stack multiple filters for larger models. Filter and included gasket are designed for use with Honeywell Air Purifiers 10500, 17000, 17005, and 17352.

Have to stack 2 for my air purifier

Wish they still made the full size one.This works well, but you lose air flow where the rubber gasket meets on the two stack.

Poor filter

This Honeywell filter is sold by a company called Kaz, Inc. In order to save money on inventory, KAZ uses this single filter with gaskets or stacking to get them to fit many units. My larger filter was replaced with this smaller filter and a sponge "gasket". I am losing about 35% filtering and it no longer does a good job om my bedroom. If I turn up the speed, it gets noisy.If you have a larger unit, it will require the stacking of two filters also with a collective loss of about 35% efficiency. Since the unit has to run longer to filter the same amount of air as the previous larger filter, it now has a shorter life as well.I also have trouble with my pre-filter snagging. I think that's because it fits sloppier than the larger filter before it.Oh, and the cost is the same. Go figure.

Great replacement filter.

This seems to be a great product and replacement filter. So far so good. I've seen a bunch of bad reviews regarding this filter, but I haven't had any issues. I have the Honeywell air filter 50100 and this filter is working out great. I too noticed the smaller size that some have mentioned, but again there hasn't been any problems with this particular filter. I guess it's just going to come down to a matter of preference for some.
