Low Cost Replacement HEPA for Whirlpool Whispure model AP450 and AP510. It is an aftermarket replacement filter with a high HEPA efficiency filtration that captures 99.97% of airborne irritants as small as .3 microns from air passing through the filter. This filter measures approximately 15 3/4 x 18 7/8 x 2 and helps effectively filter airborne irritants such as smoke, pollen, dust, mold spores, pet dander, and fabric fibers. For maximum filtration performance, replace filter every 12 months. Aftermarket replacement filter for name brand.

Third Party replacement filter

This is a third party filter replacement pack. The filter are not an exact fit for the Whirlpool Whispure 510 Air Purifier (AP510). With some effort, you can force it in since the frame is made of medium weight cardboard instead of Whirlpool's hard plastic caulked with silicon gel.I'm pleased to save the extra $$$ for the same functionality, but would have preferred knowing that it was not a Whirlpool branded product.

Replacement filter? Just the basics...

The OEM filter has a plastic frame and is rigidly braced. This aftermarket replacement looks more like the cardboard-framed filter you'd buy for your furnace. I hope the filter works as well as the original, and the cost-savings is only in the frame. I also hope the suction generated by the fan will not distort the filter over time.These filters are supposed to have a one-year life.
