This universal Cut-to-Fit activated carbon pre-filter helps remove large particles and reduce common household odors. This large 15-3/4 x 48 cut-to-fit activated carbon sheet makes 1 to 3 pre-filters depending on the model. For optimum performance, replace filter every 2 to 3 months.

Make sure you buy it from a reliable source

If you buy it from "Allergy Be Gone", the same thing might happen to you that has happened to me. They did not deliver the filter and they provided me with some fake package number that USPS said it did not exist. They also ignored my email messages - only once they responded with some idiotic text. I complained to Amazon and Amazon has returned me my money quickly. Why they ask me to write a review about a filter I didn't get, I have no idea.

Matches description, using a paper cutter is helpful

I was able to cut this into two pieces lengthwise to fit around my Enviracaire HEPA filter. I'm glad I have a paper cutter because I'm not sure how hard it would be to cut with scissors - definitely doable, but maybe some work.The filter comes with two velcro patches to seal it - an improvement over the old plastic clips I had been using.
