Filter works great

Doesn't quite fit

The 83139 hepa replacement filter I received was not quite the same size as the original. The inner diameter was about 1/8 inch smaller but it could be forced on. The length was about 1/4 inch smaller which caused a problem with the seal. I made two washer-shaped shims out of the cardboard box the filter came in and put them on the bottom seal. This seemed to be about right when I screwed the bottom on. Delivery from the supplier was prompt, so I would say service is good. Whether you can find replacement filters that are the same size as the original I don't know. You might consider measuring your old filter and asking the company for the dimensions of the replacement filter before buying. Or you can make shims like I did. I do think that if the replacement filter is too short it will not seal properly so it will not filter efficiently.

I pulled out an old air purifiers from like ten years ago and was so pleased to find that they still make these filters for it! The HEPA filtration does wonders for my family's allergies living in Austin Texas. The company that shipped this big boy to us did so in a timely way and the filter is good for at least six months, pets and all!
