Lasts for years

I purchased one of these for my pet store. It has been working since 1994. 24-7. Still using the origanal plate.All I do is once a year I blast the inside with air. The ion generator(it sets on the left side when looking in from the back. It should be round. Mine is from 1994, it is also clear.) also gets dusty. Clean that each time you wash the intake filter. My intake filter is all metal mesh. They may have chaged it over the years. The unit does produce ozone. That's what it does. If you walk in and smell ozone than turn it down. The ozone not the fan. Price is very high, worth it. 17 years never had any issue's. The fan should get oiled a little after three or four years.

Too expensive

I used to be a distributor for these machines 15 years ago. They are very good except you are paying a premium for the MLM (Multi level marketing)side of the business. Amazon has others for sale from 3rd parties for about $130 that use the same plates as these.

Maybe the naysayers should do a little more research on this little box, I think if NASA has approved its use,we could take a clue from that. I could write pages and pages of referrals and recommendations on the Ecoquest/Alpine/Flairionizer, but I will just say this, this little machine literally saved my life. I could not breathe, had hammerhead migraines,and extreme mood swings from working and living in a toxic environment. After just MINUTES of turning it on, my migraine WENT AWAYimmediately and I could breathe and my mood swings never came back. I have found, though, after years of selling them, that my customerseither love it or they hate it. The fresh air smell some people really love, others can't tolerate it. Go figure. I'm just happyfor those who receive the benefits of having this little "thunderstorm in a box" and will continue to use mine 24/7 as I have for thepast 15 years. I've seen people come off of nebulizers when they bring one of these into their homes. It will EXTRACT nicotine outof drywall, it will cause mold and mildew to disintegrate, it oxygenates the environment so you can breathe better. It's an absolutemust for people with animals in their homes who can't smell the odor because they've lived with it so long. Try it, you will be surprised.
